1. About Us

These terms govern all bookings made with VIP Windsor Castle Tour, a trading name of The London Tour, registered at 8 Boxley Road, Morden, SM4 6JB, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a tour with us, you ("the customer", "you") agree to these terms in full.

2. Bookings & Payment

• Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or by email, and are confirmed once we issue a written confirmation.
• A deposit may be required to secure your booking, with the balance due before the tour date. Exact terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• We accept payment by the methods stated in your booking confirmation. All prices are quoted in GBP (£) unless otherwise agreed.
• Prices are per group (not per person) unless stated otherwise, and are based on the vehicle and itinerary agreed at the time of booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• By you: Cancellations made more than [X] days before the tour date will receive a full refund, less any deposit. Cancellations made within [X] days of the tour date may be subject to a partial or full cancellation charge, reflecting costs already committed on your behalf (guide fees, entrance tickets, vehicle booking).
• By us: In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule a tour (for example, due to unforeseen closure of a site, guide illness, or circumstances beyond our control), we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
• No refund will be given for late arrival, no-shows, or for guests who choose to leave a tour early.

4. Changes to Your Tour

We aim to be as flexible as possible. Reasonable changes to your itinerary, timings, or group size can usually be accommodated if requested with sufficient notice, though additional charges may apply for significant changes (for example, adding an extra site or upgrading your vehicle).

5. What's Included & Excluded

Each tour page on our website states what is included (for example, entrance fees, guide, and vehicle) and what is not (for example, meals, unless stated). Please check the relevant tour page, or ask us directly, if you are unsure what is covered by your quoted price.

6. Third-Party Sites & Attractions

Our tours visit sites operated by third parties (including Windsor Castle, managed by the Royal Household; Stonehenge and Hampton Court Palace, managed by English Heritage and Historic Royal Palaces respectively; and Oxford University colleges). These sites set their own opening hours, admission rules, and may close at short notice for reasons outside our control (including for state or ceremonial occasions). We are not liable for any disruption, closure, or change to your visit caused by the decisions or actions of these third parties, though we will always do our best to offer a suitable alternative.

7. Conduct & Suitability

Guests are expected to behave reasonably and follow the reasonable instructions of their guide and driver throughout the tour, particularly with regard to safety at each site visited. Some tours involve walking on uneven ground, stairs, or extended periods on foot (particularly the Oxford and Stonehenge tours); please let us know in advance of any mobility requirements or concerns so we can advise on suitability or arrange accommodations where possible.

8. Liability

We take all reasonable care in selecting our guides, drivers and vehicles, and in planning your itinerary. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of third-party site operators, weather conditions, traffic or road closures, or the actions of other visitors at sites we visit. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

9. Force Majeure

We will not be held responsible for any failure to perform our obligations where that failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, government restrictions, or site closures announced by third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images and design, is the property of VIP Windsor Castle Tour / The London Tour unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without our permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
