You'll leave London early, while the roads are quiet, and reach Stonehenge before the coach parties arrive — a far more atmospheric way to stand among the stones. From there, it's a scenic drive back across the countryside into Windsor, where your Castle-accredited guide takes over for an afternoon inside one of the world's great royal residences.
